Description	Colonel Frank Hyatt assumed the Presidency of Pennsylvania Military College in 1930 after the death of his father, Brigadier General Charles Hyatt. Colonel Hyatt grew up on the P.M.C. campus and served as chief instructor of cavalry at the college for many years. This scrapbook focuses mainly on events that took place during the 1930s. Containing newspaper clippings, it chronicles the successful football and polo teams, as well as the major events that helped shape the college. These pages also contain some of Colonel Hyatt's correspondence. From these letters it becomes clear that he enjoyed a close relationship with several U.S. military and political leaders.
